We often get together with our couples before their weddings to go over the timelines for the big day, and to organise any final details. Jayme and Rory had arranged to meet us last Friday, the day before their wedding, to run through their plans. However, Friday was not the gorgeous Spring day that Jayme had planned for, and by the time they arrived heavy rain had set in and looked like it would last some time.
Jayme was a little concerned, as she had planned an outdoors wedding and reception and with heavy rain falling and forecast rain again on Saturday those plans were probably going to have to change. We reassured them that even if it rained all day we had locations where we could get some great photos, and not to worry. Then, over the next 12 hours we then had 362 mm of rain! That's one and a quarter FEET of rain. What chance was there of us doing anything outside?
Saturday dawned and through a miracle the day was dry, and the sun was shining! Despite having had to move rooms during the night due to minor flooding, Jayme was relaxed and happy, and she looked incredible.
Jayme had AMAZING shoes and I went crazy with the detail shots again. I love this shot featuring her shoes and her ring - oops, did I say ring? I should have said BLING!!!
Who would have imagined the night before as the deluge drowned the resort that the day would dawn like this?
Afterwards we headed off to make the most of the weather and get some images down at Diggers Beach .
We had some fun with the bridal party, and got some great shots, including this classic with groomsman Toby getting whacked in the face! Hope the nose is better Toby!
Jayme and Rory had arranged for us to have the Crazybooth at their wedding reception, and as a result we knew that we would have fun. Guests love the Crazybooth, and it's a high point of the night for many couples as they get to have fun photos with friends and family. Of course the bridal party will often run amok as well!
We had a great time with Jayme, Rory and the bridal party, and of course the "rowdy Table Four crowd"! We wish you the best for a wonderful life together, and we're already looking forward to seeing you both next time you are down our way!
