Beat the drum! Sarah and Michael get married!

Sarah and Michael first met AGES ago in high school, and it was a well known fact to everyone that knew them that one day they would get married. Unfortunately it took them many years to discover the same thing, but finally they realised the inevitability of trying to escape destiny, and they came together and fell in love.

On Saturday their big day finally arrived, and they stood together at Bago Vineyard in Port Macquarie to exchange their vows! Sarah and Michael had wanted to create a unique theme for their wedding, and with the inspired combination of Michael's passion for drumming and Sarah's awesome sense of style they were successful! Here's some shots from the day.

Rebekah and Trevor's wedding!

Last week we had the pleasure of photographing Rebekah and Trevor's big day. Rebekah and Trevor had chosen to have an intimate ceremony with only a few family and friends, but the size of the ceremony was no reflection of the emotion and love evident amongst the group. It was one of the loveliest ceremonies we've attended this year, and Rebekah and Trevor were a pleasure to photograph.

We started with the girls, where Rebekah and Trevor's daughter Kiara threatened to steal the limelight she looked so cute!

Trevor waited for Rebekah on the lawn at Aanuka Beach Resort with the white breakers of Digger's Beach behind him.

I love the way that my job means I get to see people so much in love, and to share and capture forever one of the most pivotal moments of their lives. It truly is a blessing that I never take for granted. Trevor and Rebekah reminded me again just how wonderful the commitment of marraige is, and how special it is. They have two beautiful children together, their own home, and some people may have asked "Why bother getting married?". Looking at their faces as they spoke their vows would have answered any questions. It was a transcendant moment for the two of them, and will be a treasured memory for everyone that attended.

Afterwards we headed off for some photos to celebrate the day!

Rebekah and Trevor's children mean everything to them, and so a priority was getting some family photos done on the day. We got some wonderful images with the kids, despite the fact that two of the biggest snakes I have ever seen were having a party of their own less than 20 metres away! Given Trevor described himself as being "petrified" of snakes I think he did remarkably well!

Michelle and Mick!

In early May we headed down to Michelle's family property near South West Rocks for Michelle and Mick's great engagement shoot, and we had such a good time with them on the day that we knew their wedding would be great! 

We started the day with the boys and it was soon evident from the great relationship they all shared that the wedding day was going to be just as much fun. The guys were a blast and we were laughing at their antics almost as soon as we arrived.  They certainly looked great, once they had worked out which pants and jackets belonged to which groomsman!

Then it was off to where Michelle was getting ready, with a similarly fun group of girls to support her on the day!

Mick surprised the girls with a stretch limo to transport them to the ceremony. He certainly wasn't going to let Michelle get second thoughts!

After the ceremony we were off to the Lighthouse for some photos. Michelle and Mick love the location, and with bright blue skies and full sun it would be hard to find a more striking background!

Here's my favourite of the day, taken at the headland.

Afterwards it was back to the Surf Club for the reception, where a party was certainly had by all!

Oh Mickey you're so fine....

What a great night! We had a wonderful time with you both, and a craaazzzy time with your families in the Crazybooth later! Those photos will have to wait for the password protected gallery in order to protect the innocent!
