Renee and Rama!

When we saw Renee and Rama in August for their Sydney engagement shoot we knew their wedding was going to be a great day - they just had so much fun together, and really relaxed and enjoyed being photographed.

When their day finally came we weren't disappointed, as despite rain threatening to spoil the day we had a great time, and got some wonderful images. We also met again the following week for a fun trash the dress shoot, which was VERY brave of Renee given her gorgeous dress threatened to sail away in the waves!

Renee and rama's trash the dress shoot was held a few days later, which was great as we would have all been VERY tired at 6.00am the day after the wedding! The water was warm, and we had a wonderful dawn shoot! I still can't believe Renee took the plunge! WTG Renee!

Thanks Renee and Rama for showing us such a fun time, and choosing us to share your day! We had a blast and enjoyed every minute!

Bec and Jamie's Family Trash the Dress shoot!

Bec debated about trashing her beautiful dress. When we were photographing their day-after shoot she kept saying, "I don't know if I could do that" or "I don't think Jamie would like that." Then at the end of shoot and after the sun had set, Bec and Jamie decided that they really did want to take the "plunge" but they decided it should be a family affair.

Last week we met up with Bec, Jamie and "The Girls," Courtney, Stephanie, and Kayla for a family trash the dress photoshoot.

The girls looked so great we had to get a photo before they jumped in the pool.

Great new hair-do Bec! Gotta love da BANGS!

Soul mates.... I believe they exist, but so few actually find each other. Bec and Jamie ARE soul mates.

Bec and Jamie, it has been a pleasure to witness the love you have for one another! We can't wait to show you the rest of your shots!

Danielle and Will's Trash the Dress Session!

When we first met with Danielle and booked her wedding photography she was very excited about the prospect of having a trash the dress shoot, after seeing some of our previous ones on the blog. She booked it at the same time she booked the wedding, and so we knew on their wedding day that we would be meeting up again a few days later for some more photos. As it happened, on their wedding day it started raining straight after their ceremony, and so where we might normally be organising a dry location to take good photos, we simply took a few in the rain and then headed off to the reception early so they could spend as much time as possible with their family and friends.

Afterwards we thought that we might do something special for their second shoot, so we got in touch with the amazing Margaret and Peter from Special Occasions Wedding and Event Styling. Margaret and Peter were able to organise a truckload (quite literally) of lanterns and other lights for us to do something unique and amazing for Danielle and Will. We started with some fun shots in a field, and then headed off to our special location where a surprise was waiting for them!

Then as the sun fell below the horizon we showed them what we had arranged, much to their delight!

Now given we had organised the evening shoot, we had to reschedule the trash the dress session for the following day. I wanted something pretty special for Danielle so we arranged to meet at the beach at dawn! Given dawn was at 5.30am it was really early for us, but I really feel for local makeup artist Cal who had offered to get up even earlier to do Danielle's waterproof makeup! Cal's great and does beautiful makeup, she doesn't have a website but you can contact her on 0413 126 409.
