When Jade and Joel first contacted us they were planning to get married last April, however as revealed in their engagement shoot blog post, the wedding was put off due to the expected arrival of their gorgeous daughter Grace! Now that Grace has arrived and stolen everybody's heart, they were able to have the big day they had started planning so long ago!
Jade and Joel wanted to be married in New Haven, a sleepy little coastal town full of charm where Joel's family had spent all of their holidays when he was growing up. The area is now really special to them both, and they couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.
Rain threatened during the morning, but it cleared well before the ceremony leaving the day feeling fresh and clean, just perfect for a romantic beach wedding!
The wedding was held at the gorgeous Dunbogan Beach, where Joel's family loved to spend time. It was a spectacular location!
Where the girls had chosen dressing gowns with their respective titles on them, the boys chose a different way to immortalise their involvement in the day......
Afterwards, with only a brief time before sunset we stopped off in Dunbogan to take advantage of it's lovely lake views.
Then it was back to Laurieton Ex-Services Club for their reception, which was an absolute blast! Between lots of dancing and the super fun Crazybooth mini-studio everyone had a wonderful and VERY memorable time!
Thanks Jade and Joel for a great day, we had such a blast with you and your families and friends!
