Last weekend we headed down to the Hunter Valley for Bec and Tom's wedding, which was to be held at the picturesque rural town of Scone. Scone is a gorgeous town, and we quickly fell in love with it. Known as the horse capital of Australia, it's filled with stud properties and beautiful rolling green pastures.
Bec and Tom like to party, and the weekend started the night before with dinner and drinks at the local golf club. I was amazed that everyone was bright eyed and bushy tailed the following morning, but these guys were all obviously experienced party animals! We started at Glowing Body and Beauty where the girls were all getting their makeup done.
Then it was back to Bec's parent's home where she was getting ready, assisted by her bridesmaids and three gorgeous flowergirls. Waiting for her was a wedding gift from Tom.
Bec looked amazing! The girls at Glowing Body and Beauty know their stuff! Of course they had a pretty gorgeous canvas to work on. :o)
Meanwhile, Tom was getting dressed in his childhood bedroom.
Then we were off to the Church!
Bec and Tom's friends all had gorgeous kids - there must be something in the water out there! This one took Mary Ann's fancy!
Then it was off for some photos at a local stud farm. What a glorious day!
The girls wanted some lovely photos together...
For the guys it was less of a priority...
Thankfully, we were able to drag Tom away from the boys for a little while.
What an amazing wedding and such great people. We had a blast at the reception but for the protection of the innocent, those photos will have to remain gallery only!
