Hi, and welcome to our blog! I’m Antony and together with my soulmate Mary Ann, we’re married, madly in love and passionate about photography and life. We love our work - after all, what could be better than sharing a couple’s wedding day with them, capturing the special moments forever? It’s really easy to be excited about going to work in the morning!
I was born and raised in Melbourne, where I was interested in photography from an early age. Despite my love for photography and art I let myself get dragged into a desk job for several years before I realised that I wouldn’t be really happy until I pursued my dream. I left my traditional day job and started working with a studio in Melbourne, learning the art of lighting, portraiture, and of course my passion - wedding photography. Over time I developed my own style, which combines modern photojournalism with traditional classic portraiture, and I was ultimately accredited by the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers.
In 2005 I was in New York at a photography convention when I met Mary Ann, and in just three days we fell madly in love! Mary Ann is a Southern gal from sweet-home Alabama with a background in design, and despite the attractions of home I managed to get her to leave the USA and come to Australia. After our marriage we chose to move to the NSW North Coast to establish a new studio, and together with our dog Mr Darcy we now call Coffs Harbour home.
While Mary Ann is my number one love, I also crave good coffee, pizza and having fun. Mary Ann loves peanut butter, Mexican food, and designer handbags, and of course we both love photography and weddings!
